How do I factory reset my Yealink phone?

When do I want to factory reset my phone?
A factory reset will fix many small problems that happen with phones. Sometimes you will be asked to factory reset a phone by one of our support techs, but you should never do a factory reset unless told to.

How do I factory reset my Yealink desk phone?
To factory reset a Yealink desk phone, press and hold the OK (1) button until the factory reset window pops up then press the OK softkey (2).
If you are using a Yealink T57W phone, you can press the redial button. 

The reset process will take around five minutes and your phone will reboot multiple times in the process. If the phone does not return to a working state, then you will want to contact support. Click here to email support.

How Do I factory reset my Yealink cordless phone?
1). First, you will want to locate the base. It is not the base you set the phone on and is some times located in a network closet. It will look like the picture below

2). Next, start unplugging the device. You want to unplug both the network cable (1) and power cable (2). If your phone does not have a power cable, that is OK only some phones have a power cable.

3). You want to hold down the Connect button as you plug the cords back in. The connect button is the button that looks like wifi.

3). Keep holding the button(1) until all three lights (2) are greed then unplug the network (4) and power cables again (5).


4. Plug the cables back in and the phone will start it's reset. The reset process will take around five minutes and your phone will reboot multiple times in the process. If the phone does not return to a working state, then you will want to contact support. Click here to email support.
