Many times Windows is setup to block access to the microphone as a whole. Please follow these steps to allow the Websoft Phone to access the microphone and headset.
1. Open Settings by right clicking the Start Menu and clicking Settings
2. Search for "microphone" in the search box at the top left and click Microphone privacy settings
3. Click 'Let apps access your microphone'. In some versions of Windows this will look differently;
4. If available towards the bottom of the list, click 'Allow desktop apps to access your microphone'
