Edit a Time Frame

This article assumes you are logged into the Manager Portal as a Site Manager or Office Manager.

Accessing Time Frames

1.  Select the Timeframe tab.

2. If you are editing a time frame that is accessible by all extensions, click Domain or click the pencil icon on the domain row.

3. If you are editing a time frame for a specific extension, click the extension name or click the pencil icon on the extension row.

4. Locate the time frame to edit. Click the name of the timeframe or click the pencil icon.

Days of The Week

1. The edit window for the time frame is opened.

2. Update the days as needed:

Check new days to add.

Uncheck days to remove.

3. Update the start and end time as needed:

Use the textbox and dropdown to change the start or end time. The dropdown goes in increments of 15 minutes.

If you need to set a time outside of a 15-minute interval, you can enter it by typing. (Example: 9:20 AM can be entered by typing 920am into the field.)

4. Update Recurrence as needed:

If the time frame should not repeat weekly, select Custom.

Enter the start and end for the time frame to repeat and how often the time frame should repeat.

5. Once all changes have been entered, click Save. Cancel will disregard the changes. Back will allow you to change the time frame type.

6. If you update the time frame type, you will need to set up the time frame again, as Days of the Week does not translate to Specifc Dates, Holidays, or Custom.


Specific Dates

1. The edit window for the time frame is opened.

2. Add additional dates using the mm/dd/yyy and hh: mm am text boxes. By default the entire date is selected, 12 am to 11:59 pm.

Please enter each date as its own entry. Date Ranges can cause the time frame to not activate correctly.

3. Adjust the start and end times by clicking the time textbox. A dropdown will appear. The dropdown goes in increments of 15 minutes.

If you need to set a time outside of a 15-minute interval, you can enter it by typing. (Example: 9:20 AM can be entered by typing 920am into the field.).

4. Once the start and end times are set, click the + icon to add the date to the time frame.

5. To remove dates, press the X icon.

6. Update Recurrence if necessary.

If one date is entered, the options available for recurrence are based on the dates entered for the time frame. Since 02/28/25 is a Friday, the last day of the month, and the 28th, each of these options become available for recurrence.

If multiple dates are entered, recurrence only allows for Does not recur or Every year on the selected Dates.

7. Once all changes have been entered, click Save. Cancel will disregard the changes. Back will allow you to change the time frame type.

8. If you update the time frame type, you will need to set up the time frame again, as Specifc Dates does not translate to Days of the Week, Holidays, or Custom.


Holiday

1. The edit window for the time frame is opened.

2. Add new holidays using the search bar.

3. When searching, please use the Proper Name of the Holiday. For Example, the Fourth of July will not return a result, but Independence Day does.

4. Remove Holidays using the X icon.

5. Update the start and end time if needed. Use the + icon to add time ranges within the day.

Adjust the start and end times by clicking the time textbox. A dropdown will appear. The dropdown goes in increments of 15 minutes.

If you need to set a time outside of a 15-minute interval, you can enter it by typing. (Example: 9:20 AM can be entered by typing 920am into the field.)

6. Update recurrence if needed:

7. If you need to edit how the holidays are observed based on the day of the week, switch to the Observed Holidays sub-tab.

If you do not need to edit how the holidays are observed, skip to step

10. Once all changes have been entered, click Save. Cancel will disregard the changes. Back will allow you to change the time frame type.

11. If you update the time frame type, you will need to set up the time frame again, as Holidays does not translate to Days of the Week, Specifc Dates, or Custom


Custom

1. The custom timeframe window is opened.

2. To edit a specific part of the custom timeframe, click the pencil icon to edit

3. Follow the steps for the specific type:

Days of The Week

Specific Dates

Holidays

4. To remove a specific part of the custom timeframe, click the X icon

5. Changes are saved within the individual parts of the custom time frame
