Accessing the Service

Log in to the service by going to https://efax.callharbor.com  

On the first login, please update your password.

Please contact CallHarbor Support if you do not know your username and temporary password.

 

Changing the Password

This service uses a username and password unique to the system. 

  1. After you are logged into the service, select 'Update Profile' at the top of the page
  2. Then select the 'PASSWORD' tab at the top of the page
  3. Then click on the Lock icon to unlock the update password section on the right of the page
  4. Enter your current password, and create your new password
  5. Click "Update Password"

Your Fax Number

Once logged into the portal, your fax number will be listed under “General Account Info.” in the Dashboard Tab

Send a Fax via the portal

Log into your account at https://efax.callharbor.com. This will default you to your “Dashboard” view. 
Steps to send a fax:

  1. After you are logged into the service, select 'Send A Fax' at the top of the page or 'Send' on the left side panel
  2. Enter the 10 digit fax destination number in the "Fax Number" field
  3. You can also use the "Recent Sent Faxes" Icon to select a recipient from your history

  4. Click "Next" in the upper right-hand corner
  5. Now, select your file you wish to upload by clicking the "Browse" button in the upper left-hand corner
  6. In the pop-out 'Open' window, find the file you want to send on your computer, once selected, click 'Open' to attach. The file selected should show under 'Selected Files' then click 'Next' in the upper right-hand corner.
    Note: The following file types are accepted (PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLXS, PPT, PPTX, ODT, GDOC, GSLIDES, GSPREADSHEET, TXT, RTF, XML, PCL, EPS, PS, TIFF, GIF, PNG, JPEG, FXC)

  7. On this page, you will be able to preview the fax and see the uploaded attachments, then press 'Next'
  8. Select a Type and Folder if necessary. For more information regarding Types and Folders, please click here.
    Email addresses added to this section must be emails added to the fax system (other fax users). If you add an email of a non-eFax user, the hyperlink in the email will not work as they need to be able to log in to the eFax portal to view it.
    Now you can click the "Send" button to send the fax and view the confirmation page.

 

Send a Fax via Email

To fax via email, attach your fax to an email and send it to 11digitphonenumber@efax.callharbor.com (example; [email protected]).
If send notifications are turned on, you will receive a notification verifying that the fax was sent
Please note that a 1 is required at the front of the phone number and the email MUST be sent from the email associated with your eFax account.


View Your History

From the main page, locate the left side panel.

  1. Select Search
  2. In the top bar, select the filters for your search
    System Type to Display:

    Last Date to display:

    Faxes sent before this date will be included in the results, faxes sent after this date will not be included
    Time of Fax:

    Faxes sent before this time will be included in the results, faxes sent after this time will not be included
    Set Type:

    Set Folder:

  3. To search for Fax Number, click the plus arrow

  4. Once all of the filters are set, click the arrow to update the results
  5. To the right of each fax, you can download, print, forward, delete and look at the details of your faxes (the details screen will give information on the fax, including why a particular fax failed)
